Weekend of the maxi

The arms are out and my nerves are shot! Curvies its going to be a hot summer and I'm very  mindful of having my arms out!  So I decided to do it again,  but 3 times!  I purchased these maxis from Old Navy for $18.00 each and I had to rock them! I must say old navy have given us plus women such a great selection of maxi and made out of stretchy material, that I had to buy this maxi in the same color x3!  It gives great back coverage and is very comfortable! Its a must buy. And,  so I decided to  embrace my body (arms) and love every inch. Change the things i can and love what you can't ...

Honor my curves !

Loving yourself is being completely accepting of who you are and what you look like! I've had this dress for months and finally decided to do a blog on it... I'm coming into my own and loving the woman i'm becoming and the woman that i am. Each blog that i do represent a stage in my life or circumstance that i have overcome. Rather its friendship, my love life or just understand myself ! My fashion is changing as the world change, its become more settle and sexy, which  is a good thing, because its showing my curvies that i'm  loving the skin i'm in. I never thought this would be what i would love to do  and wearing this dress which hugs every  curvy, roll,  and section of my body only shows that us curvies, can live large, be sexy and majority of the time do it better!

Festival time

Sexiness is only a portion of beauty, you have to feel it! 

Its festival time in New Orleans and many of my curvies have been asking me for maxi dress posts! I wore this dress for my mothers birthday dinner last year but never did a post on it, with me in it, but I post about it, last year,  Power of the Plus Maxi !  I'm a maxi lover and since im starting a maxi line this is a great time to post and bring a buzz to it!  I'm excited because my partner and I have the business filed and the name will be introduced soon!

Fashion Week New Orleans "CoLab"

On Saturday i had the pleasure of attending Fashion Week New Orleans and it was a hit.  I must say i'm a sucker for uniqueness and what i was most impressed about, was that not only was there street wear in the runway shows, there was also couture. Yes, let me write that again, there was also COUTURE...lol. which was the highlight of my night and i'm more than sure it will  be talked about months ahead!

One of the Show stopping shows was from CoLab, not only did these two women bring 

Couture to the forefront, they represented the style of a certain "unknown" woman from NOLA, whose style was just as unique as our city itself. Elizabeth Shannon, whose a sculpture and Kate McNee whose a designer formed CoLab and broth Fab to us!

I found more info about the ladies on www.nola.com but they stold the show for me, i only attend the show on the last day, but these  ladies gave me much more than i expected.... Fashion Week kicked it up a notched from last year.. Check out the Video Below

Rope tie blue

"The color blue is the color of trust and responsibility.."

On last night i attend a birthday party for my God sister and i pulled out my Rope Tie Jumpsuit that i purchased from Asos, last year..This baby went fast and i had to get it....Blue, if you didn't know is my fav color and it really compliments my skin color well.

 But whats amazing is that its know that blue is the color of responsibility and LORD knows i have a lot of responsibility, but mostly it represent TRUST!
